I do not recall ever hating the bad guy in the Night Huntress series as much as I did with this demon bitch. Due to family connections being a vital point in the whole possession thing she goes for the power that Bones and Mencheres' line can offer. Now she basically got tired of living on the sidelines that she seeks power. A female demon by the name of Hazael has possessed Wraith ever since he became a vampire over 200 years ago. This time around demons once again become the antagonist of the story. The ones who usually came in second compared to the powerful Bones, Mencheres and Spade took it into their own hands to save the ones they love. I loved how Ian, Cat, Denise and Fabian saved the day. His humor and overall loyalty to those he cares about is just downright sexy. Ian if possible became even more appealing.

Their protectiveness over the other is just enthralling. The moments with Cat and Bones reminded me of why I love them so much. The plot of this story became interesting right about when we the reader find out about a supposed half-brother of Bones, Wraith. All of our beloved characters make an appearance exept Vlad. This story provided much more then I expected it to. Although I was so glad for the Cat and Bones fix it still left me wanting more. This 150 pg short installment to the Night Huntress series made up for the last book in my opinion. Cat and Bones may long to wrap presents and set up a tree, but this Christmas, an evil vampire and long-buried family secrets will threaten to take a bite out of their holiday cheer. It's "Home for the Holidays" in Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series.
